These community awards seek to recognise and acknowledge student’s achievements in vocational studies in preparation for their future career paths. The awards ceremony presents each nominee with a certificate acknowledging the student as a worthy recipient of the awards along with a citation provided by the school. The certificate and citation included in the student’s ‘curriculum vitae’ is recognised by employers and is proven to assist with job applications.

This program is hugely successful with an average of fifty nominees being presented with community acknowledgement and recognition for their achievements in their course studies. The event is hosted by schools on a rotational basis and the catering and entertainment is provided by the host school’s students.
