Rotary Youth Vocational Awards

The Rotary Youth Vocational Awards (RYVA), a program of the Rotary Club of Padstow is held annually in collaboration with high schools in the club’s service area. The schools are asked to nominate their most deserving year 11 & 12 students who are completing a Vocational Education Training (VET) course during the year in any of the curriculum frameworks and/or a traineeship or apprenticeship or a Board Endorsed VET Course; these courses are studied at school.

Annual Carol Christmas Event

For 55 years the Rotary Club of Padstow has staged Carols by Candlelight, celebrating the joy and peace of the Christmas season with the community. (3) The Rotary Club of Padstow | Facebook

What began as a small event has grown into the social event of the year, bringing residents of the local community in the thousands to sing along with our amazing entertainers. Many residents bring picnic hampers to enjoy the evening relaxing with family and friends.

Aims of the Program
The aims of the Youth Advancement Program are to aid and offer financial support to young people aged up to 25 who reside, are educated or work in the Rotary Club of Padstow “Areas of Service” to assist them to reach their full potential in their chosen field. The Youth Advancement Program is Equity - for the advancement of young people.
